I started working in Linguaviva at the beginning of the 1990’s.  I became the Director of Studies in 1992 after the very sad and sudden passing of Andrea Güsken, the founder of Linguaviva.  I then continued to run the school with the help of our wonderful staff for many years until my son Paul joined and took over the reigns in 2009.  I finally retired after nearly 30 years of service to Linguaviva in 2016 but continue to keep a very close eye on the industry through social media and the various contacts I have built up over the years.

Likes: Bridge (Current Irish Captain), good company, good food, people doing what they’re told (especially my three sons) and the ‘occasional’ glass of wine!

Dislikes: Bad service, people being unnecessarily rude and my wine being corked 😉
