I got into teaching by accident – it started off as a part-time job, “… something I might do until I establish myself as a translator…”, as I had thought while still studying English Language and Literature at University of Zagreb, Croatia, from where I later obtained my Master’s in the subject. I soon realised that it was actually a marvellous job and I have enjoyed it immensely ever since. I’ve been teaching English to generations of students for over 15 years.
Working at the Linguaviva Centre has been an amazing experience – teaching students from all over the world and learning from them about different cultures is invaluable.
Apart from foreign languages, I am a nature enthusiast – I love mountaineering, cycling and camping, and I always take along my two dogs, another one of my passions!
