IELTS Preparation

Linguaviva runs specialised IELTS courses. Students will study for 19 hours per week (9am – 12:15pm Monday to Friday with two afternoons 1pm – 3pm) combining general English along with dedicated IELTS preparation.

All of our teachers are highly skilled in the areas of Exam Preparation and will also correct additional work whether it be practice papers or extra homework for our students.

Some of our most senior teachers with up to 30 years of experience teach our exam preparation classes.  Click here to see some of our teaching staff.

IELTS is currently the most well-recognised exam for those who want to study through English at university or college (or pursue a career path using English). This course combines many of the linguistic, academic and cultural skills needed in Further or Higher Education. The programme is relevant for any learner who intends to work or study through English in a formal context. Students will be able to choose between a 4, 8 or 12-week programme, ideally to be completed just before the proposed exam date. Students will be supported throughout their preparation period inside and outside of the classroom. Students have access to an official IELTS examiner at Linguaviva to do mock exams.
