Activities
We offer a varied and interesting programme of extra-curricular activities including films, walking-tours, sports, lectures, talks, evening outings and excursions outside of Dublin.
A representative from Linguaviva accompanies students on nearly all outings in Dublin. Once a week, places of historic and cultural interest are visited, such as Dublin Castle, Malahide Castle, Trinity College, The Writers’ Museum, Dublinia and many more. Full day and weekend excursions to such places as Glendalough, Kilkenny and Newgrange are also led by a guide. Every day an English video is shown in the school free of charge to all students. Many students take advantage of this chance to just relax and socialise with students of other nationalities in the common-room.
Linguaviva also has a games room where a full size Table Tennis table is the main attraction. This is one of the busiest rooms each day with several competitions run throughout the year also.
